Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Sump Pump Discharge Line Installation with Exterior Concrete Restoration - Bristow, VA
This homeowner needed a new sump pump to be installed. However, installing a sump pump requires there to be a sufficient pathway for the water to discharge and this home had a concrete walkway exactly where the discharge line needed to be laid down. The homeowner did not want to remove or ruin their concrete walkway, but they certainly needed the new sump pump. The 3 Pros team went above and beyond to accommodate this unique situation.
Being careful to preserve as much of the walkway as possible, the 3 Pros team jackhammered a small trench along the perimeter of the home and across the walkway to lay down the discharge line. Then, the team fully restored the walkway and covered the inlaid discharge line with new concrete. The customer was extremely pleased with their successfully installed sump pump that had no leftover damage or modification to their walkway. Another example of the 3 Pros commitment to quality customer service and satisfaction!

The sump pump needed to be installed here, but the concrete walkway was preventing a proper discharge line.
The customer didn't want to tear up or replace their walkway, so the 3 Pros team carefully created a trench down and across the walkway for the discharge line.
The discharge line went along the side of the house...
...and across the walkway to properly expel water.
After successfully placing the discharge line, the team recovered the concrete walkway.
A brand new sump pump and a fully restored walkway!
