Crawl Space Encapsulation Upperville Virginia

This home in Upperville Virginia had a nasty crawl space.  It was musty smelling and had mold present in the old insulation and around the crawl space ceiling.  Our Certified Home Performance Sales Pro Eric was able to design a plan using the right products to help keep the unwanted water and moisture in the crawl space contained and to help improve the air quality in the home.  The floors were insulated and covered with drainage matting and a vapor barrier.  The support piers in the crawl space were sealed and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to remove moisture from the air.  This will all help keep the crawl space drier, make the home more comfortable, and improve the air quality in the home.

Crawl Space Door Replacement Upperville Virginia

Part of this crawl space project in Upperville Virginia included a new EverLast Crawl Space door being installed to replace the old wooden door that was originally used.  The older door was made from wood and metal and was able to rot and rust.  The EverLast door is rust and rot proof having no organic materials used in its manufacturing.  An added lifespan and the ability to make an air tight seal will keep this crawl space entrance dry for years to come.

CleanSpace and SilverGlo Installation

This crawl space had a rocky dirt floor and needed insulation to keep the surrounding rooms conditioned. We applied CleanSpace liner wall-to-wall and SilverGlo insulation to achieve conditioning.

Crawl Space Humidity and Moisture Control

Your vented dirt crawl space is affecting your health and comfort and costing you money more than you know. The air inside the crawl space is musty and full of mold spores, mildew, dust mites, and bacteria. Moisture in the crawl space also causes mold growth and dry rot, which damages the structure of your home. The good news is that our crawl space experts can solve most crawl space moisture problems with a simple process that includes waterproofing, encapsulation, and dehumidification.
